I was there for a family getaway and enjoyed our time in a lovely cottage. The hot tub area was ideal for unwinding after a busy day exploring local attractions like Kelburn Castle and Estate, which was just a short drive away. The outdoor amenities, such as the trampoline, were a hit with the kids, making our stay feel even more special. I appreciated the thoughtful touches in the rooms, and my family felt right at home throughout our visit.

Solo travelers, this place is a gem

Room was very clean and comfortable, I had a mini fridge and lots of tea and coffee to keep me going. The breakfast brought to my door was superb, and the lovely lady who delivered it was always smiling, really makes you feel welcomed.

It wasn’t inexpensive but worth it for the experience.

The stay at Peacock Guest House exceeded expectations. The comfortable large bed ensured a great night’s sleep. I really appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which kept drinks cool, and there was an abundance of tea and coffee options. Breakfast served to my door was top-notch and freshly cooked, a definite highlight. The owners were welcoming and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere. the walls felt a bit thin, and I could occasionally hear noises from neighboring rooms. this did not detract significantly from the enjoyable experience.

I loved the comfy king room, but the bathroom door wouldn’t close right.
